FAQs

Where are you located?

Our Scottsdale office is located at 8010 E. Morgan Trail, Suite 12, Scottsdale, AZ 85258. Our major crossroads are Hayden and  Mountain View right off of Shea and the 101. We share an office with Peace, Love and Happiness Counseling of Arizona. Currently, Colorado clients are seen virtually only.

What type of therapy do you offer?

Our practice focuses on traumatic grief however we understand that loss often overlaps with other issues concerns and we are ready to support those as well. Our therapists also specialize on life transitions such as employment stress, relationship conflict, moving adjustments and parenting challenges. Some of our therapists have specialized training in sexual abuse, substance use, infertility and young adults. We use a variety of modalities including the Attend Model for grief, CBT, DBT and trauma informed CBT. All of our therapists are trauma informed and work from that lens. We see ages birth to 100.

Do you accept insurance?

Yes, we do! We are in network with Aetna, Cigna, Triwest, United Healthcare/Optum and Blue Cross Blue Shield in Arizona. We can provide a Superbill upon request for all out of network insurance plans to submit for possible reimbursement. Currently, we accept Aetna for Colorado residents, 

What are your self pay rates?

Our rates vary depending on the licensing and experience level of the clinician. Rates are between $125 -$150 per 50-55 minute session. We recommend Open Path Collective www.openpathcollective.org for sliding scale counseling services.

What are your hours?

Our therapists are available 6 days a week including evenings and weekends. Our therapist‘s schedule varies between 7am and 8pm in order to meet your needs. We also offer virtual sessions if you prefer to not come into the office.

What is the best way to make an appointment?

Your message will be returned within 24 hours and often times much sooner. We do offer free 15 minute consults to ensure we are a good fit for you.
