This group provides a safe, supportive environment for individuals to process intense grief stemming from a sudden, unexpected or traumatic loss. Topics include understanding the complexities of grief, adopting coping skills, emotional regulation strategies, resource sharing, grief and our relationships and the brain, plus ways to honor loved ones. This 6 week group is closed and meets biweekly on Wednesdays, beginning May 21 from 6pm-7pm. Insurance accepted or $35 self pay per session. Colorado residents can join with the self pay option. This non-religious based support group provides a safe and supportive environment to those who have lost someone special to them. Topics include anticipatory loss, healing, self care strategies and understanding grief and complex emotions. This group is not appropriate for those who have had a traumatic, sudden and unexpected loss or loss due to stillborn/miscarriage. (Please consider the Traumatic Grief Support Group or Pregnancy Loss Support Group). This 6 week group is closed and begins Monday, May 19th from 6pm-7pm. This group offers support for pregnant and new mothers of babies up to 2 years. Topics include challenges of new motherhood including stress management, implementing self care, adjustment in relationships, the baby blues and other concerns. Members will learn new coping skills, answers to parenting questions and general support by other members and led by a mom of 3. This group is open and meets weekly on Thursdays from 6pm-7pm virtually. Insurance accepted or $35 self pay per session. Limited to 8 members. Facilitated by Julie Dudo, MSW, LMSW
This in person support group in Scottsdale provides connection for mothers grieving the loss of their baby by miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy or stillbirth. This group also includes those struggling with infertility and associated challenges. Members will find comfort with each other on topics such as disfranchised grief, coping skills and honoring their baby and themselves on this journey. This group meets in Scottsdale (Shea and 101 area) weekly for 8 weeks. Meeting times are Fridays from 6pm -7pm. Insurance accepted or $35 per session. Limited to 6 members.
